The Xtra Yard is a pure speed based programme for individuals or team sports aged between 8 – 17 years.
You will learn and understand the key factors that influence your speed such as technique, switching on core muscles and minimising your contact with the ground, which will enable you to run quicker for longer. You will also learn what has a negative effect when you are trying to create explosive speed, so that you can minimise this and create more positive effects.
We aim to ensure every child understands the key factors of running effectively. If they understand it, it is easier for them to create it and deliver it on the pitch, court or track.
Age Groups:
8 years – 10 years
11 years – 12 years
13 years – 14 years
14 years – 17 years

The improvement in Gethin’s running style and speed would have been enough to keep me coming back, but the attitude, commitment of the coaches and how they engage with children makes it a must for me.
